I just got an email that I just can easily get behind. It’s from a marketing company that I follow – and I suggest you do too if you’re interested in small business marketing. The blog is aptly called “Small business marketing blog” and it’s from Duct Tape Marketing.
Small Business Saturday. Get the word out!
The post today was about a new SBA (Small Business Administration) program called “Small Business Saturday”. The concept is simple. Support your small business on Saturday, November 27. These are the businesses like your and ours generating the vast majority of jobs for our local and national economy. I hope the it’s a resounding success.
Here’s some quick facts about American Small Business from the smallbusinesssaturday.com web site.
- For every $100 spent on a local small business, $68 returns to the economy.
- Small business represents 99.97% of all employer firms
If these aren’t reason enough to support it, I don’t know what is.
I hope it impacts your HVAC business (or whatever business you are in) in a positive way. Make sure to sign your business up and get a lot of great rewards.
OPEN from American Express is offering rewards to those that spend at least $25 at a local business on that Saturday. Facebook is offering advertising credits…and many more are pitching in too.
